After dusk, various groups come to the Ghats and melodize the environment of the Ghats with their musical instruments. Fun fact about the fort is that a detective novel has been written based on the Jaisalmer Fort, which was later converted into a movie called Sonar Kella. Now, that’s how famous the fort is.Apart from the fort, Jaisalmer also houses the Salim Singh Ki Haveli. The haveli lies within the vicinity of Jaisalmer Fort. The highlight of the fort is its unique architectural identity; the Haveli’s roof is based on the peacock’s physical form. In the background, you can see high hills overlooking the mansion that enhances its charm.Your last destination in the city is the Indo-Pak Border. Since ancient times, this zone was used by travellers to visit and export items to other countries. Now this zone has the Border Pillar No. 609. At BP 609, one can see the check post, the fencing of wires on the Indian side and watchtower of BSF. Only Indians are allowed to go up to BP 609, and that too after proper permission from the BSF authorities.It is time to head back to your hotel and start packing for your departure the next day.
